The project takes the form of two buildings, the Multifunctional Centre and the Civil Protection Logistics Centre. They are juxtaposed within the project area and dialogue with each other in terms of composition, form, proportions, materials and construction technologies. The open public spaces are a fundamental element within the architectural composition: they act as a filter and antechamber for the functions that take place inside the buildings and are conceived as areas to be lived in all year round, characterised by the strong presence of vegetation. The exclusive character of the composition resides in two large parallelepiped volumes that, when illuminated at night, emerge in the skyline of the surrounding landscape to be a unique and easily recognisable landmark.
