The design is for the renovation of an existing industrial hall to be used as office and warehouse space. The objective of the design is to generate an energy-efficient building with a contemporary architectural language, capable of upgrading, also from an urban planning point of view, the area in which it is located. All design solutions are based in compliance with C.A.M. and in particular meet the requirements included in the LEED protocol, BD+C – New Construction, rating system v.4. The subject building is developed mainly on one floor, except for the portion of the building on the southwest corner, henceforth referred to as the “head”, consisting of two floors above ground. In total, the building covers an area of about 2700 sq. m., from the irregularly shaped site, consisting of the aggregation of three staggered rectangles. For the realization of the project are planned interventions, which in general concern; the roofing, facades, outdoor spaces, distribution of interior rooms and the renovation of all systems, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
